I. Introduction
2019 is a year of remarkable achievements for China based WWII Reenactment. With the help of multiple returned overseas students and friends living in China, we started our first re-enactment attempt. In the reenactment activities, we pursue that personal clothing, shoes and hats must basically conform to the historical prototypes, and the craftsmanship, materials, production methods and other aspects of the items need to be close to or consistent with the original products; we pursue appearance and behavior that are consistent with the era of the reenactment and the identity of the military personnel; We strive to avoid using all modern items in our reenactments and only hold and use items that meet historical conditions and are necessary for daily life.
For this event we managed to cobble together a minimal German infantry squad and a handful of Soviet troops. We learned German military drills, including basic military concepts, military etiquette, tactical deployment, etc., and we made battlefield meals.
Although we have tried our best, due to the age and some on-site factors, there are still some bugs in the event. The most obvious one is that the NCO failed to make the trip, so it had to be temporarily replaced by others.
Again, we have nothing to do with politics, ideology, war crimes, etc.
